Ingredients
  

Sourdough Pizza Dough

  • 1 cup sourdough starter fed and active
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water lukewarm
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Toppings

  • figs sliced
  • 4 slices prosciutto
  • 1/2 cup goat cheese crumbled
  • 1 cup arugula
  • 1 tbsp honey for drizzling

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine sourdough starter, flour, salt, and lukewarm water. Knead until a smooth dough forms.
  • Cover and let the dough ferment at room temperature for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone inside.
  • Roll out the dough into a thin pizza base.
  • Transfer the dough to a parchment-lined baking sheet or directly onto a pizza peel if using a stone.
  • Top with sliced figs, crumbled goat cheese, and prosciutto.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and top with fresh arugula and a drizzle of honey.
  • Slice and serve warm!

Experiment with different toppings like caramelized onions, blue cheese, or roasted walnuts for a unique twist!
