Caramel Mocha Donuts

Delightful homemade donuts combining rich flavors of coffee, chocolate, and caramel, perfect for any time of day.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee (cooled)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Caramel sauce for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the brewed coffee, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract.
  4. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just blended.
  5. Pour the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about halfway.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let them cool slightly and then drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.

Notes

Don’t overmix the batter to keep donuts light and fluffy. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days or refrigerate for a week.
