Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pie crust
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (e.g., cheddar or Swiss)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, sauté the chopped onion until translucent, if using. Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir in the sautéed spinach and cheese.
  4. Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the quiche is set and the top is golden brown.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Enjoy!

Notes

For a flaky crust, avoid overworking the dough. Allow the quiche to cool before cutting for easier slicing. Experiment with different cheeses.
