Crispy Shrimp Toast

A delightful dish combining crispy bread with savory shrimp, perfect for snacks, appetizers, or light meals.

Ingredients

  • Fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • White bread or any bread of your choice
  • Garlic, minced
  • Green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Place the shrimp, garlic, green onions, egg, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper in a food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Spread the shrimp mixture evenly over slices of bread.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and add the bread slices shrimp-side down.
  4. Fry until the shrimp are cooked through and the bread is golden brown, flipping to cook the other side for a couple of minutes.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free bread. To lighten the dish, consider baking the toast instead of frying.
