  • 1/2 cup seeds (such as pumpkin or sunflower seeds)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup sourdough starter
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil or butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: dried fruits or spices (e.g., cinnamon or nutmeg)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, nuts, seeds, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, melt the coconut oil and combine it with the honey, sourdough starter, and vanilla.
  4. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and stir until everything is well coated.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through until golden brown.
  7. Let it cool completely and add dried fruits if desired.
