Fluffy Strawberry Cream Cake

A light and refreshing dessert that’s perfect for celebrations, summer gatherings, or a sweet treat at home, featuring fluffy cake layers, fresh strawberries, and creamy frosting.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened butter and granulated sugar until creamy and smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, blending well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the milk and mix until combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt, then slowly add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the sliced strawberries gently so they don’t break.
  7. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the cakes cool before frosting them with whipped cream.

Notes
