  • 1 package of graham crackers or saltine crackers
  • 1 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange a single layer of crackers.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together until fully combined.
  4. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the caramel mixture over the crackers, making sure all are evenly coated.
  6. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, until bubbling.
  7. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  8. Allow it to cool slightly, then sprinkle sea salt on top.
  9. Let it cool completely before breaking into pieces.
