Tangy Crispy Oven-Baked Honey BBQ Chicken Wings

  • ½ cup of honey
  • ½ cup of BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a large bowl until evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake the wings for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through for even cooking.
  5. Mix honey and BBQ sauce in a small bowl while the wings bake.
  6. Brush the honey BBQ mixture onto the wings for the last 10 minutes of baking for a sticky glaze.
  7. Remove the wings from the oven, drizzle with any remaining sauce, and serve hot!

Notes

For extra crispy wings, broil them for the last few minutes. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
